Gradually Increase Training Material | Memory Competitions #6

You can't just randomly increase the amount of material you memorize because if you try to increase the material by a lot, you will fail completely and learn nothing! Different amounts of information require a different amount of skill.

Summary:

Jumping from 100 digits to 300 digits is such a large gap that you can’t possible even memorize all 300 digits. Even in the failing, you can’t learn anything because it overloaded your current memory skill. You need to increase material by small amounts like 100 to 130. This allows you to improve your memory skill.
