Breaking In A Memory Palace | Memory Training Tips #5

Just because you create a memory palaces doesn't mean you are ready to use it. You need to break your palace in before any memorization because you don't want to run into any problems! Make sure you have a stockpile of memory palaces so you don’t have to wait for the palace you just broke in.

Summary:

After you finish a memory palace, walk through it to make sure you have all the locations because you might forget some locations since it is a new palace. Next you want to memorize information using the palace because you want to make sure the locations are memorable. The info you memorize is going to be completely useless. Let the palace forget the images from the info, and you are ready to use it!
